In the realm of shadows and forgotten tales, Corvo Baltar's story began. Born to a human mother and a crow entity from the nether realms, Corvo’s life in the decrepit city of Gloomhaven was marked by otherworldly mysteries and human sorrows. His transformation at the hands of The Shatterer, a sorcerer with a heart as dark as the void, was both a curse and a turning point.
This curse left him with a body part human, part crow, and a soul burning for revenge. His once ordinary human eyes now gleamed with a crow's cunning and insight. The feathers that sprouted amidst his hair and the talons that replaced his fingers made him an outcast, feared and shunned by those who did not understand his plight.
Corvo turned this ostracization into his strength. He trained in the arts of stealth and assassination, moving like a shadow and striking with the precision of a raptor. He adorned himself with garments that blended with the night – a cloak feathered like his own wings and a dagger as dark as the void from which he partly came.
His journey took him across realms, through cities shrouded in mystery and forests lost in time. Each step was a move in his grand strategy against The Shatterer, each kill a message that he was coming for his nemesis. Yet, in his heart, Corvo wrestled with the duality of his nature – the human yearning for peace and the crow’s thirst for revenge.
